FEDT CHAIRMAN’S ADDRESS
In Unum Luceant.
Uche Orji
Chairman, FEDT BoT.
Address presented by Fisher Educational Development Trust at the 2024 Homecoming/AGM of Government College, Umuahia.
FEDT-ADDRESS-2024-HOMECOMINGOn behalf of the Board of FEDT, I would like to join all Umuahians whenever you reside in the globe to celebrate GCUOBA-USA for your hugely successful 2024 convention.
Each of you that organised this convention gave it your best shot. The attendance was High and electrifying. The speeches were edifying as expected from well-groomed Umuahians. The donations were thunderous. The Umuahian spirit was palpable at the venue and spread like wild fire across the globe. The takeaways from the convention were far-reaching. Indeed, our urgent capital projects got a great boost. The Endowment fund couldn’t have gotten a better take of.
The adoption of the Beredugo report will help a lot going forward. I will be engaging our three major presidents, USA, UK, and Nigeria, on how we will tackle the fence wall. I believe we will agree on a template that we will broadcast to everyone soon.
For now, let the celebration of the success of the GCUOBA-USA 2024 convention continue!!
His Excellency, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, ’63
Chairman, FEDT BOT
