GCU Restoration Project Updates
Dear Umuahian,
You may recall that the concerted effort by the Old Boys of Government College, Umuahia to secure the release of the College and restore it as a citadel of excellence finally bore fruit on December 22, 2014. It was the day that the Trust Deed was executed between the Fisher Trust and Abia State Government for which the entire Old Boys, home and abroad, are deeply grateful. So at the turn of the year 2015 (Fisher Trust’s first year of existence), the immediate priorities of the Trust were the setting up and formalization of administrative and other structures that would drive the GCU Restoration Project.
